OKAY
time for me to blog about my first week
at my new job!
okay quite honestly i felt like the first two days of work
was PURE TORTURE
like REALLY
i just really wanted to quit and go back
to bumming around at home
BUT now that i've had time to adjust
i think my job isnt so bad after all
its been only ONE WEEK
and i think i've already become a little more thick skinned
which is like TOTALLY necessary for my job
and this job is teaching me PATIENCE
so yes.i think in a way this job is good for me
cause i think it'll have a positive impact on me
AND my colleagues and boss are really nice so thats a PLUS
oh yes
and after one week of work
i have come to the conclusion that
BOYS WILL ALWAYS BE BOYS
and they never grow up
haha
i think
some of the funniest phone calls i make
are the ones to the NS guys
haha they are SUPER HILARIOUS
but everyone is really nice and friendly
actually i think i'm really lucky
cause my job is kinda like a telemarketing job
just that i'm not SELLING anything
i'm recruiting people
but STILL i was gearing myself up for alot
of rude/nasty people
BUT i honestly havent come across any of them
sometimes they even CRACK JOKES with me over the phone
hahah
okay up till last week
i was still under the impression that singaporeans
were generally unfriendly
but after the first week of work
i HAVE to say
that there IS a possibility that there might be
more friendly singaporeans as opposed to the unfriendly ones
OH YES
ALSO
the guys are having a ball of a time poking fun at me
for being and ij/cj girl
YOU WOULD THINK THAT BY THIRTY FIVE
they would've outgrown school stereotypes
but NOOO
haha
OKAY ONE MORE THING
haha
they made me take a personality test at the interview
so when i was talking to my boss the other day
i asked him how i scored on my personality test
and he was like
"okay YOU
people like you need to be MANAGERS ^_^
haha (either that or that i need to go into sales)
whatever it is you do you need to be interacting with people"
anyway he said alot of other good stuff
and THEN he was like
"BUT your problem is that you're not a compliant person
I BET YOU
that when you were in cj
you ALWAYS go to school late
which means that you ALWAYS end up in detention
and your skirt was always shorter than the required length
AM I NOT RIGHT?"
i was like O_o
he got all that from my personality test?!?
that's just scary!
AYE
okay okay i must must must learn to not be such a rebel
haha
mum says i'm not outwardly rebellious
mine is PASSIVE REBELLION
hahah

guess its back to work tmr
i'm just sad i didnt get to celebrate surviving my
first week at the new job this weekend
all the friends are busy busy busy
