you know the one thing i've always lacked:
DISCIPLINE

after trying to fight off the tears
on the way to church
all through mass
on the way home
after trying to force a smile
after trying to fake a laugh
just so the family wont worry about me
i had a lot of time to think
when you tried to talk to me yesterday
i realised
i realised it doesnt matter
i dont care what feeble explanation
you have to offer
nothing you say can justify your actions
aud is right
i always handle it well (usually)
but i havent been handling this well
and its about time i start protecting myself
i'm sick of being everyone's doormat
i dont care what you have to say anymore

i've always been able to lay the groundrules
when it came to my relationships
i shouldnt have made exceptions for you
i slipped up
i let things slide
i've been mucking around for too long
